Hello groupies!
So here's some thoughts on what we need to work on this week:
Wed/Thurs
Go over Situation Analysis together
Review Objectives
Try to get some numbers for the Budget
How much are our competitors spending, what are the industry benchmarks
If we use the objective and task method, then we will need to figure out our strategy/media execution first, and then see how much it will cost
Outline Strategy!!!
Copy strategy: what are we trying to communicate? what's our message? what methods are we using? (use
Chapter 11
as reference)
Media Plan: where, when and how are we advertising - trade show, business periodicals, events, tv.....
By Friday we should try to start these sections, as I believe they will take the most time
Creative Execution - actually creating our ads, describing events, etc...
Media Execution - a lot of research into actual prices, venues, media types etc... reach and frequency estimates, etc
