Hello groupies!

So here's some thoughts on what we need to work on this week:

Wed/Thurs
  • Go over Situation Analysis together
  • Review Objectives
  • Try to get some numbers for the Budget
    • How much are our competitors spending, what are the industry benchmarks
    • If we use the objective and task method, then we will need to figure out our strategy/media execution first, and then see how much it will cost
  • Outline Strategy!!!
    • Copy strategy: what are we trying to communicate? what's our message? what methods are we using? (use Chapter 11 as reference)
    • Media Plan: where, when and how are we advertising - trade show, business periodicals, events, tv.....

By Friday we should try to start these sections, as I believe they will take the most time
  • Creative Execution - actually creating our ads, describing events, etc...
  • Media Execution - a lot of research into actual prices, venues, media types etc... reach and frequency estimates, etc
